It then passes vertically down through the 500mm tall nylon mesh filter element. As the water flows down, the nylon mesh with 130-micron holes captures and removes any debris, dirt, or contaminants. The filtered clean rainwater exits out the 110mm outlet to be collected in your storage tank. The filter uses no electricity, instead relying solely on gravity and capillary action to pull the rainwater through. One Raintap unit can effectively filter rainwater from up to 140 square meters (1500 square feet) of roof area. Its compact size of 2.5 feet tall, 1.25 feet wide, and 8 inches depth allows easy installation. If the filter gets clogged, the 50mm drain outlet can flush out collected impurities.

Filter element is of 105 mm diameter and 500 mm length. The filter element is made out of Nylon material.

One can take out the filter element, and wash it under a running tap simply by tapping it.

New Raintap Rainwater Filter’s Height is 2.5 ft, Width is 1.25 ft and Depth is 200 mm (8”).

It’s easy. Please keep the filter element raised (by pressing the spring-loaded knob). This will allow the draining of the first rainfall from the drain hole at the bottom. Once you press the filter element in its position, the rainwater will start flowing through an outlet on Top.
